Hera Does Hollywood
Hera's hitting the tube!! A producer from a local CBS
affiliate has contacted me about filming the action
when we load Hera up to haul her big butt to Half Moon
Bay.
Hera's really excited about this because she's really
a show-off and thinks she should be on the evening
news every night. She does have a soft spot for kids,
however. Here's a shot I snuck of her playing with my
daughter:

It's funny how the news hounds gravitate toward the
big ones and just ignore the smaller ones. The lesser
deities in my patch are going to get some kind of
inferiority complex from all the attention that hussy
Hera is getting.
We are seeing a heat wave here the last two days and
my pumpkins seem to be enjoying it. They sip on the
sweet juice of the earth and grow still a bit larger
every day. It hit 98 degrees today and I'm misting to
keep the sweat from their brows and their tempers
cool.
