RE: bug problems

Sounds like it. With as many as you have sounds like they are pretty well
established and having a really good time in your patch. I hate these
little %$#!**&!!!!!!! Liquid seven kills the inmature ones well, they are
light gray in color adults more black. But harder to kill in the adult
stage. Rotenone and I think Sabadilla will kill adults. But what I do is
go out with a spray bottle filled with a little dish soap and water,
sometimes I will add a little rubbing alcohol and spray them till my hearts
content. Ahh, revenge is sweet, ain't it? You have to make direct contact
on their little bodies and they will walk around for about 30 seconds are
so and then fall over dead in their tracks. Alot of times I will take the
spray bottle and tap it on the vine a few times, and the bugs will crawl
out from underneath the vine where I will wait in ambush to spray. Just
don't get the spray on the leaves to much it might burn them. Ahh, revenge
IT'S A GOOD THING.

I am having problems with what I call stink bugs. They are greyish black
and are climbing on my pumkins. Mny of my pummpkins with these bugs on them
are rotting in the garden. Are these bugs squash bugs? Can I spray my
pumpkins with Sevin to get rid of them? I have picked many pumpkins and
placed them on a wagon and the bugs are still on them.
