re: snow and frost
My plants been covered in plastic covering for the past 3 weeks and has
survived several minor freezes to 27 degrees. I placed pvc on top of rebar
placed in the ground and used this to support the plastic. It has worked
fairly well so far. Unfortunately the forecast is for 21 degrees tonight and
it's currently snowing outside so I think I'm done for the season. It's been
good It's my second year and my pumpkin is estimated at 521 lbs.
