SE Mn. Weigh Off Results
It was an absolutely beautiful day for the Southern Mn. Giant Pumpkin
Growers Weigh Off in Austin, Minnesota, as the sky was blue and
temperatures were in the mid to upper 70s. Over 30 pumpkins were entered
and over half were over 500 pounds. Here are the preliminary results for
pumpkins, watermelon, and squash:
1) 768 - Wayne Peters, Rochester, Mn. - Wayne also grew one which
weighed 674 pounds
2) 700 - Paul Stellpflug, Rochester, Mn
3) 678 - Richard Andree, Brownsdale, Mn - Richard also had a 602 pounder
4) 674 - Dennis Buntrock, Elgin, Mn
5) 668 - George Heyne, Rochester, Mn - George also had a 594 pounder
6) 656 - Dave Bhaskaran, Rochester, Mn
7) 650 - Carolyn Heyne, Rochester, Mn
8) 592 - David Andree, Brownsdale, Mn - David also had a 525 pounder
9) 580 - Warren Phillips
10) 576 - Cory Weissinger, Durand, Wisc
