pumpkin transport ?

I have always seen pumpkins transported in trucks of various sizes. But
what to do if there is no suitable truck available. I would be interested
in hearing from anyone who has used a trailer. Most of the trailers I see
don't have much in the way of suspension, is that a problem for successful
pumpkin transport?
