Re: also need help

Teri and Son,

We ahd a simlar thing happen to us. (Bob and  Daughter) Our first
pumpkin got sunburned  and rotted in August. We  gave up  on this years crop
and just let the vines go. About three  weeks ago we noticed  that we had
many female  blossoms, many of  which seemed to be setting on! We left  them
all. 3 began growing at  an astounding rate! Then we had 7 days  of constant
rain and  all three rotted. 'Oh well', we thought, 'the season is really
over'. Yesterday,  we were wandering  through the large tangle of vines in
the old patch and found two  fine pumpkins (45 and 100 pounds)! Maybe  if  we
ignore them they'll make it to Halloween!
