Hello,
I found this address on the Atlantic Giant pumpkin page. I work with a
group that has an annual pumpkin festival in central Massachusetts
called the Great Jack-o-Lantern Fest. This year, it is to be held at
Roger Williams Park in Rhode Island.
Although thousands of pumpkins have already been purchased for the
festival, we are short about 100 Big Mac pumpkins and any Atlantic
Giants the crew may need for large carvings. This is the 13th year of
the pumpkin fest, and detailed art work is displayed for the public.
The topics include famous people and events from history, as well as
classic monsters and familiar characters for the children.
If you, or anyone you know in the New England area, grows these large
pumpkins, John Reckner, the founder of the festival is interested in
buying these for this year's event. (Oct. 11 through Oct. 31.) Due to
the length of the show, all major pumpkins will probably need to be
carved a total of 3 times due to decay.
