Okay I'll be the first to admit that I have two 1000 pounders in the patch. Hopefully other growers will come forward and admit to having 1000 pounders and add a little bit of positivity to a terrible week. Pumpkin growing seems so meaningless after Tuesdays events and has deflated my excitement considerably.

Tuesday was horrible
 
Yesterday my daughter's DC university was evacuated all day due to a bomb threat
 
Today my second largest has a to the core blossom end split at OTT chart weight of 692.7
 
What a week!
 
Maybe somebody can admit to having a 1000 pounder out there so I/we can get back on a positive force......
