Re: Glenn's baby is done

Hey all: What are your options, (make them private if you wish) regarding pumpkins that don't make it to weigh off.
I personally think its wrong that on the AGGC site, the fish that got away is ahead of the world record pumpkin. Anyone
can hook a big trout but if they don't land it, its just talk. Half of this game is arriving on Oct 6th, putting a fruit on the scales,
getting the results & then bragging. Not talking about the one that got away. Mind you, I'm not sour grapes, I've lost 5 fruit
so far that I consider only as cull's as they let me down, all running in 500 & 600 lbs but not worth anything in comparison
to whatever my competitors arrive with On weigh off day. Just curious as to how other growers feel. I know myself if I held the
world record (O I wish) I would be really cheesed off at seeing a UOW as top dog. Just a subject for discussion before weigh off 01
Let's hear what the rest of you are thinking ???????????????
This is sparked by the would be squash mentioned on a major pumpkin web page , ahead of giving the world record squash (Official)
the front page which it should have gotten but the web master has not seen fit to change it.  Bill Van
