Re: Glenn's baby is done

Glenn: Wo. We are talking green here, you are formost the most picked on green grower on the list. Let's STOP
Put yourself in Ben Hebbs place( I really dont know how he feels about it) only trying to get feeling of list on a subject ,but I'm sure
if you had the WORLD RECORD green one at present you wouldn't stand for a major web site putting a would be ahead
of your official one. Slow down, cool off ,Put the shoes on & then reanswer the question ( Private if you wish) Its only a subject
that should be addressed. Not trying to be nasty, but in your opion, would it be different if this record was held by US as the
pumpkin record is.

The last I checked the AGGC site doesn't maintain records for the fastest germinated, the quickest vine growth or the fastest to 300 lb.. So why should it pollute its records with unofficial results.

Hmm...the last "I" checked, in the growers comments section...there was a place to add any and all information on the seed or the plant...anything that can assist in the description of the plants physical traits, growth habits, purhaps germination rates. A competant and thorough grower would also be interested in what "failures" a plant has had...and what similar crosses are available. What tendencies a given seed or fruit has...maybe they all split, or have a tendency to be big AND small.  Way,way off base......................G
