Moving Pumpkins
Now that I have a decent sized pumpkin (about 800 lbs), how do I get it
to the weighoff without breaking it, what precautions should I take to avoid
a disaster? My question is even with a lifting tarp can I get it into the
truck without risk of injuring it or should I put the pumpkin on a pallet and
lift it up with a fork lift? Once in the truck I will rest it on a sheet of
2" styrofoam to help soften the bumps as I have a 4 hour drive to the
weighoff. Many of you have gone through this before any suggestions will be
appreciated.
