NEW WORLD RECORD !!!!!!

Just wanted to let everyone know that we have a NEW WORLD RECORD set today at Topsfield Fair (at least for the next week).
The weight of1,260.4 lbs. was set by Brittany & Craig Weir of Salisbury, Massachusetts. "Weigh-to-go"
 
Jim Kuhn  of Goffstown, New Hampshire, came in a close second with a 1,020.2 lbs. 
Third place went to Wes Dwelly of Oakham, Massachusetts with 1,002.0 lbs.
Congratulations to all the top place growers!
 
In addition to those placing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd at Topsfield, John Girgus of Derry, New Hampshire disqualified himself because of a hole that reached the inner cavity.  John was allowed to weigh his pumpkin to get an official weight on his personal best, and sadly,  he would have placed second with 1,107.8lbs.
