Rocky, My 893.5
weighed in at Clarence was grown from a 723 Bobier seed and self pollinated.
The OTT put it at 888, so it weighed where the charts had it.
Gee
Rocky, I wonder who the PGPGA sleeper is?
Joe Pukos Leicester, New
York USA Zone 6 6th year grower Personal best 1096.8
Okay... we now know there is a new world record, we now
know that reaching the next true milestone of 1500 pounds is attainable
with the raising the roof display that Craig and Brittany showed the
Topsfield Fair goers. What I am wondering is this, what seeds were the
1000 pounders plus grown on? Jim Kuhn, Rock RIvard, Craig Weir, Andrew
Papez, John Girgus, Wes Dwelly and Brett Hester. I think that is all of
them. Now for the other monsters out there weighed in, how
about you Joe Pukos? Congrats on a nice "repeat" in Clarence. What grew
that? INquiring minds want to know! Bigpumpkins.com has the pic of the
1260, and it has some green, but I am sure from past experience, that
pictures do not tell the true coloration as lighting does affect that.
Anyone who went to topsfield care to comment on how nice it looks>?
I have been on the list since near the beginning , and this
is the quietest the list has been after week one! Stay tuned though, from
what I have heard, the PGPGA contest has a sleeper contestant, that
couldPGPGA sneak up and steal that new world record. Might be a great trip
to meet some of the sports biggest heavy hitters and possibly a few
mosnters too! Ill cya all there, and bring your seeds, lets do some
trading!
