Small world after all!

Do you all remember just a couple weeks back when I was feeling like the all alone pumpkin grower? 

 

Well, one local grower found me as a result of my cries here on the list and as it turns out we when to HS together. 

 

Then, today, I made contact with another first year grower who lives just down the road from me.  His biggest right now is at 142” circumference!  My boys and I are going to visit his patch tomorrow and take a few pictures to get up on my pumpkin website (link below).  He his planning on weighing at Half Moon Bay, as his son is also a grower who lives in the bay area.

 

Just thought that I’d share a little fun and excitement from my neck of the woods.  Nice job Mike and congrats on the new state record!  Also, thanks to those of you who have visited my new pumpkin site and provided me some feedback regarding said site!
