Finding a Certified Scales

Vince, 
Have you tried going directly to scales rent/sales folks? They're in the
yellow pages under scales and might be willing to accommodate you
especially if you give them a picture for use in their ads. We were LENT
a scales for a MONTH when we held a fishing contest in Bodega Bay; they
brought it out and they picked it up.
Otherwise, ask the nice folks at your county ag dept, your local farm
bureau, the county fairgrounds. 
Be sure to let us know HOW you finally arranged it when you finally
divulge her final weight. See you at Elk Grove!
