Quick questions

Without causing a holy war, can I ask the list if my pumpkins which have 2 about 1" deep stab marks ( aggressive 2nd grade vandal) whichh do not go all the way through should still be considered official at a weigh off or is it EXH only?
 
Also any tips on preserving the seeds for next year.
