Thanks Gus -----Original Message----- I like the last line! (Heck, I
like the whole poem since it doesn’t rhyme!) -Gus -----Original
Message----- I will
take a stab at it Kathie here is what I came up with Pumpkins? It begins
with a cold winters end When passion
over come reason We ordinary
become extraordinary Pulled to
mother earth By season
past In hand we
breathe the soil It’s
time to plan, it’s time to till This is my
year we say No matter
what the cost We all plant
with care These are our
babies Warm their
water Cool their
limbs We guard
against their enemies And we pray We say we
want to be the best And grow the
biggest ones But what are
we growing That is
what’s so weird Because what
were really growing Are
friendships There just
big and orange Ok some times
green By Dennis
