Lighten up

Title: Lighten up
This sure is a sticky situation.

Years back when this happened here in California no one said anything . It was my first year growing  and hell I didn’t know.  Everybody else were good friends and this really  put a strain on things.  So  I can completely understand the predicament.  And it friggin doesn’t  sink in till later------- just need a moment.  But you can’t make those quick decisive calls till you have some experience in all the adverse situations.  So lighten up.

I think there was a good compromise because  It got past the the judges.  But something just didn’t feel right so the re-thought .

Is that what we want......if you get it past the judges ....its all good??....even though its leaking rot juice??

Most the time we pick non biased judges  and they are not the most experienced at the examination.......but its the veteran growers that are most experienced judges.  Even then.......if a pumpkin gets  the most experienced judges and is leaking rot juice do you  ignore it.  Hell been there and its not the way to go. That’s wrong.  As hard as its to face leaking rot juice mean only one thing probably a minute hole some where!!!!

Obviously this juice didn’t sit well...with the IPGA and they made a stand and you guys  reaming them.......hmmmmmmmm!!

Were all learning......MBrock
