   First of all, congratulations to David Garrell on the new CT. record. I held the record for a few years myself. The initial weighing could have in fact been correct, however, I must side with Allen on this one. If the initial weighing was done on a scale that was not certified and calibrated by a scale company, it will slightly tarnish Davids fine job.Any major pumpkin organization requires a calibrated scale and Davids fine achievement will not be recognized. If that doesn't matter , call it an 825. My opinion is take the 821 as the official weight.....the 821 far eclipses the old record.
