Ray,
I know being from Michigan, that for some reason our pumpkins seem to not
grow as large as the states around us. I like the idea of a 100 lb handicap,
but mine wieghed 487 not 587....LOL

Bob - It was a long day!  Thanks for coming all that ways and perhaps you deserve that extra 100 lbs.  I remember taking a nice 300+ lber to the "Pumpkin School" in Ann Arbor some time back (1990 I think).  It was in the spring of the year and we had meetings at the Domino Pizza Complex.  I was privileged to be the keynote speaker and spoke about - what else "giant pumpkins" and where we were headed!   Sure do feel we're headed in the right direction and congratulations to those who already weighed off and good luck to all yet to get their weight.  You guys that blew up, busted or cracked; you know that if we don't push this thing we're going no where and we all feel for you and respect your attempts. It only takes one (1) and I for one expect to see some disappointments along this road.  Don't stop trying.  We need to push.  Pulling won't get it done.  So, always think and act positively.  You know the drill!  I still have faith in all of you after more than 20 years of talking this talk.  And, very much expect to see a 1,500 lber soon and onto a ton!  I'll see if I can come up with some good funds for what's coming.  Thanks again Bob for making that trip.
