Those are plenty big enough for a weigh-off. The weigh-offs are more about
participation and camaraderie than winning prizes (at least to most of us.)
I don't know what typical weights are in your area, but it could possibly
contend for prizes as well. Good Luck!

I am a first year grower from Belgium(Europ), and i am verry happy with my
season.
I have two pumpkins on one plant on 640 sqft. (estimated weight together:
762
lbs)
I had no problems with bugs or disease thanks to my tunnel-greenhouse.
One pumpkin is still growing (its under a heating-lamp at nights). I hope
she
will be heavy enough
for a weight-off on 05-10-2003.
