David, believe me, I wish I could help you. Unfortunately the pumpkin
gods were not smiling on me this year. I would recommend posting the
question to pumpkins@hort.net. It is a newsgroup that will reach a lot
of growers. I don't personally know any growers who are in your area of
the country, but I'm sure there are some on the newsgroup.
