I did Something stupid
I did something very stupid. I was trimming the vines in my patch and I
accidentally cut the primary vine to my largest pumpkin. Right near the stump.
How can I make this pumpkin last till Halloween? Am I out of luck? Any ideas?
Will the roots along the primary vine at least keep it from rotting? I also
have one that has a split stem. I don't think it is going all the way to the
cavity. Any ideas there? I would appreciate any advice. I am really upset and
am almost ready to convert the patch to corn.
