As you know, with AG's. Nothing is in concrete. It could be genetic it could
be fruit position in relation to the vine.
Maybe it's better to position the fruit blossom higher than the stem instead
of trying to raise the vine to accommodate the fruit?

Bob I tend to disagree......I have my vines held up by styrofoam to relieve
pressure and I still get splits...........I believe it can also be caused by
poor vine support, but not always....
