Check your local surplus stores for military cargo nets. There usually
inexpensive and provide hand holds wherever you need them. You can also
use
them with lifting devices.
Depending on the size, you can cut them down and make more than one.

Airport cargo terminals sometimes discard nets that are torn or have
broken
clips but are fine for lifting and tying down.
