Too Much Rain?

Hi, My Largest Pumpkin is only about 250 lbs, but I am worried about the 3 -
5" rain we are getting here now in South Jersey from "Jeanne". I have some
small splits near the stem, which I brushed with a paste of Captan. Will the
rain give it too much water?
