what about all of us in the middle ? 

There are big ones in the mid-west.
There are small ones in the mountains, and down south.
(Although I'd be thrilled if someone proved me wrong.)

(I could rant for a half-hour about how 3/4 of the country doesn't
even know there is a Mountain time zone, but I guess it's a waste
of time....).
