Bhaskaran Patch Update #5, Sept 4th - 2005
Howdy!
This has been the best year for growing pumpkins in MN in about 20 years!
Last year we froze (in my patch) on Aug 21st! Now I just need to bring them
to Market :-). My 770lb 486 Bhaskaran, a beautiful red/orange split(rib)
this week...so that's always disappointing!
Below is were I stand and the splits I had...started with 10 pumpkins on 10
MVs...down to 7...hope can make it to Sept 24th! Our weighoff....my last
monthly update for the season....Look for Mr. Heyne's SE MN weighoff report,
to see how it went!
