Howdy!
Hoping your summer was a great growing season! SE MN had a great streak of
warm nights that has allowed me to tape a personal best...hopefully, won't
rot or split and can get officially weighed. :-) After my 670 Daigle went
down
on day 40 at 790lbs (233lbs/wk), wasn't sure the year would go well. Note:
I was able to get the seed from the 670 Daigle (x 781.5 Frantz!) and was able
to get 3 for 3 on germination! So I'm looking forward to next year!!!!
After starting with 10 plants and 10 pumpkins...down to 6 pumpkins...
6 Current Pumpkins:
#1 - 781.5 Frantz #2 - Day 74 - 175.5,105.5,96.5 = 377.5 OTT = 1125lbs
+30lbs/week.
#2 - 648 Bhaskaran - Day 74 - 165.5,95.5,100.5 = 361.5 OTT = 990lbs
+44lbs/week.
#3 - 1420.5 La Rue - Day 78 - 154,95,101 = 350.0 OTT =
900lbs +35lbs/week.
#4 - 501.5 Beachy #2 - Day 78 - 157.5,91,90.5 = 339.0 OTT = 819lbs
+29lbs/week.
