Thanks very much Al, these things are a real hoot to grow! I'm sure the record will be changing hands many times in the near future, the genetics are really improving quickly thanks to people like you.

The 121.5" was grown on the previous world record gourd, the Lyons 116 5/8", and crossed with the 88.5"Eaton, which is it's mother.

I want to thank great gourd growers Chris Lyons, and Bob Attaway, for much needed advice.

Good luck to everyone in the upcoming contests, I'm sure there are some other record breakers out there and it'll be fun seeing how long these things go!
