It was painful for me to watch.
This was to be my fourth season, and I was generously gifted seeds from
three great growers. Apparently, in my over-zealous aspirations for a new
PB, I goofed up my soil. None of my male flowers produced pollen, and hence
no fruit set.
It's going to be a long post-season.....

Lord of the Gourd was shown on PBS last night on the west coast.
That's the first time I've seen it.
It was 2006, looked like it was filmed at the end of the season and
culminated at the Cooperstown NY weighoff.
Anyone see this thing? The director is a pretty weird guy.
