I cut from the plants. We can't burn here, so they go to the landfill.
I have 2 plants from seed stock 1450x1502. Each plant has a white pumpkin
(one of which is on the plant that has SVB's). Do you think they will
eventually turn orange?

SVBs wont dammage your fruit directly. The problem with them is vine
dammage
that cuts off water flow. If you are in N. IL, you have a couple of weeks
left for growth. In my humble oppinion, I would go with what you have. I
had
terrible SVB problems this year in N. Indiana. I slit some of my vines
with
a razor and pulled the grubs. This was in July though and had time to
burry
them and get em to root. At the end of the year, pull your vines and
remove
them away from next years patch. I burn mine. Good Luck!
