SVBS can and will bore into fruit as well.

I would allow any growth on your vines to continue til the end of the
season. If they are infested with SVB, the plants will hopefully have enough
vigor to make it. If you really want orange pumpkins, let the sun hit them.
Giants are a pale orange at best anyway.

So you think i should cut it?  Will it keep until Halloween?  It's probably
about 120 lbs+ now.   I have been getting rid of everything that I cut from
the plants.  We can't burn here, so they go to the landfill.

I have 2 plants from seed stock 1450x1502.  Each plant has a white pumpkin
(one of which is on the plant that has SVB's).  Do you think they will
eventually turn orange?
