Several years ago I saw a very entertaining and interesting documentary film
on PBS TV which followed several giant pumpkin growers through their season
of
growing giant pumpkins. That film got me interested in the hobby and this
year I have been able to grow a few large pumpkins in my community garden
plots in Los Angeles. Everyone in my garden is coming around to see the big
pumpkins (estimated at 150 lbs) and I have been asked to write a few
paragraphs for our newsletter. I have been trying to remember the name of
the
film. Perhaps someone on this list would know of the film?
