I thank you all for all your wonderful advice, and hope that I don't see any
of these "buggers" next year or thereafter!
But I'm still confused about a few things.... Do I spray this now before
harvest, or after? Do I need to till the soil first, or after application?
Should I also spray the other areas of the gardens as I've been seen the evil
doers there too!
And finally, yeah, how could I leave out Yoko?
Thanks again, for all your insight~
Beth

Thanks to all who answered.
I bought some Warrior T 8 years ago and I still have a small amount.
The stuff is the best thing I've found for SVB's and other garden pests.
Tell me about this triazicide-spectacide. If you could Steve. Is it
comprable to Warrior T?

Go to the website and contact a sales rep. Question, are you growing
crops
for sales and distribution? If not, try triazicide-spectacide.

Imidacloprid @ .3 lbs Ai/A.
Twice - once preplant then repeat in 5 weeks.
Beth,
Besides the systemic assault next year, winter tilling destroys the
over
wintering SVB larvae. Adult SVB's are best controlled with contact
sprays
like Warrior, Capture or Asana.
Your other beetles will be easilycontolled with Imidacloprid.

Every year that I've grown our array of heirloom pumpkins, I have
never,
no
can't say ever, encountered the beetles that we've seen!
Everything from japanese, squash, cucumber, mexican, you name it,
they've
landed in our patch, including vine borer!
I've sprayed and sprayed again, the "bliss" seem to be unaffected by
these
evil insects, but I shouldn't say anything, I shudder to look tomorrow.
In any case, I remember reading somewhere, after I harvest what's left
of
course, that I need to do something for these infected beds as I don't
want
ANY of these insects next year.
Does anyone have any suggestions other than a cover crop?
Thanks.
Beth
