not to mention many of the water softeners provide a higher sodium content
water - which for sure will not help your plants! (Some softeners do not,
but all softeners cost money to operate, so irrespective of sodium, very
foolish to spend extra money on water for the lawn, garden or washing the car,
terrace, whatever.
