pumpkin stopped growing

Hi Everyone,
     I was wondering if anyone had any advice.  I have one pumpkin that
stopped growing at 450lb ... it's parents were much larger.  The vines
and everything seems very healthy.  I don"t know if I should try to
increase the fertilizer or water more.  ????
