Duncan: I am the site coordinatoer for a GPC weigh-off site in Altoona PA. We are the only site in PA. The nearest site to our location is in Ohio. The weigh-offs as you know will be held on October 4 at all the sites across the country and in Canada as well. We will start to weigh at 10AM at Sam's Club in Altoona. Anyone who wants to come here is welcome. There is no preregistration etc. There are 20 other GPC sites and the WPC also has their weigh-off on the same day. Ray Waterman (LGOURD) could comment on the WPC sites. Every pumpkin grower who has a real interest should go to one of the sites. To see all the huge pumpkins sitting there together is something to behold. It stimulates you for next year and you might even line up some good seeds as well as good advice.
