This has been a really exciting year, I didn't grow anything that I would
even take to a contest, I estimate my largest at 150 lbs, it is also my
first. I have read every E-Mail on this list and realize the effort
everyone has put into growing the "Big One". Congratulations to all those
that have made it to a show, hurrah for the winners. My condolences to all
those that had the big split, disease, deer, gophers, the ^(*&% telephone
company, heat, hail, assorted veggie eatin bugs, high water, low water and
no water! I had fun, have met a lot of new folks on the net and am planning
for next year already. I appreciate all the help, advice and concern in my
first attempts to grow a big'un.
My only regret is that it will be five long months before I can start this
process all over again. Thanks to all - even DA JUDGE.
