Well, the one good pumpkin we had suddenly developed a big white moldy
spot on the top (which is actually the side). Within two days the spot
doubled and now....it covers almost a 1/3rd of the pumpkin. I think I'll
give up on the giants, 4 plants and not one viable pumpkin! Maybe after
I'm done sulking I'll change my mind. This weekend I'll start fall clean
up and pull those darned things up. You have all been so nice, I hate to
leave the list. Perhaps I'll just listen in for a while. Happy gardening
