Chris,
I was driving by a road construction work crew, they were re-paving the
road and there was this guy who was measuring the thickness of the ashfault
with some kind of device that gave him the thickness of the finished
product.......anyways, I keep hearing people wishing there were devices
that could measure the wall thickness of a pumpkin. Well there are lots of
devices they are just very expensive. This machine was about 1 foot square
and it was yellow. There are also other machines that measure density but I
hear they are very expensive also.
