The Ottawa-St.Lawrence Growers sent a giant pumpkin to Hong Kong on 25
August. It was purchased and is being displayed by an upscale supermarket
in Hong Kong.
Paul McIntyre of Oxford Mills, Ontario, grew the pumpkin which weighed 550
lbs (plus or minus).
It flew from Toronto via Vancouver to Hong Kong. A new world record for
distance traveled by a giant pumpkin has been set.
