I will be signing off the list for 10 days or so while I am off work to have
achilles' tendon surgery. Will miss all the pumpkin chatter but I will be
sitting in the backyard with a cast on watching the pumpkins grow! Catch
you all later. I really enjoy all the progress notes, poems, and assorted
pumpkin chatter. We are now totally hooked on growing pumpkins, although we
won't be challenging any records this year. One question, is it OK to take
your biggest pumpkin to the weight off, even if it only weighs 300 # or so?
My hubby wants to take the biggest one in the worst way (weigh?) as it is
his first year ever gardening (and now he's hooked!)? Is there a category
for the smallest big pumpkin? Ha Ha! He is so proud of this pumpkin! (Not
bad for a first effort, actually). Thanks!
