Benchmarks and other folly

Hey there fellow obsessives. First let me thank everyone who has been so
helpful in answering my questions. Thank you. Next, I wish to thank Mike
Stephenson in Beaverton, OR for taking me on a tour of his wonderful
giant pumpkin operation. I recommend it to anyone in the area.

Is there anyone who can tell me where I might find OTT benchmark info?
(i.e. how quickly should it reach a certain size / sizes?) I'm trying to
gather as much info as I can from my humble little pumpkins' regarding
growth, feeding, temperature etc., so I will be more well prepared next
season.

Note: (What's the record for the earliest mention of "next season"?
Sadly, it's been said by many of us this month; but has anyone ever gone
so far as to say "Well that blows it for next season; I'll just have to
wait until season after next..."?)
