Pumpkins,
I am pretty sure they are day neutral, meaning that the length of the light
period has no effect on the ability of an A.G. to flower. Dr. Chris Mpelkas,
retired photobiologist for GTE Slyvania in Danvers Ma., would probably know.
GB Pumpkin may know his whereabouts. I will get the info in the next week or
so. The light response of the A.G. would probably be the same as any winter
squash, if anyone else on the list comes across info. Chances are, no research
has been done on the A.G. specifically....it will be under winter squash or
pumpkin may be close enough genetically, to shed some light on this matter,
YUK, YUK!!
