Well, the amount of sugar used is SO small, (a teaspoon a gallon or so), the
ants aren't going to really care about it. Also, using pesicides to get rid of
a few ants off of a pumpkin plant is slightly overkill, don't you think?! They
don't really hurt anything. (Well, unless they are farming tons of aphids or
something).
