The New Milford Pumpkin Festival, New Milford, CT. will take place Oct 10 with
a rain date of the 17th. There will be 3,000 in prize money as follows. Adults
800,550,325,200,100,100,50,50,50,50. Children 13 years or younger....no babes
in arms please. One cash prize per family. Childrens schedule
250,150,75,50,50,50,25,25,25,25. Children may compete against adults.Pumpkins
begin arriving at the town green at 9A.M. Weighoff at noon. Lots of booths,
vendors, children can buy a pumpkin and decorate it. Runs from 9 to 2PM.

2nd annual Giant pumpkin Regatta, held at Central Park in New YORK City. Plans
are coming together fast and furious finally. Stew Leonard, Pumkinguy, The New
York City Parks Commish, and a couple block buster celebrities (to be
finalized this week) will be battling in the icey waters near Bethesda
Fountain in Central Park.More Details to come soon. Last year this event was
covered by CNN, CBS, NBC and FOX. BIG BUCKS are involved in this charity
event.....I will relay that info as soon as the ink dries. GROW , GROW, GROW
your boats!!!
