Roger, It has been a long time since I considered my plant physiology.
Your posting from 9/5 disturbed some cobwebs and picqued my interest.
Could you verify my interpretation of some points?
1. the 25% water to crushed bulb ratio is volume to volume.
2. you treat dried seeds immediately prior to germination, not fresh
seeds prior to drying.
3. You do not separate the supernate from the mushy suspension of
the stock solution.
4. Seed leaf size differential is the maximum seed leaf size upon
growth, not the emergent seed leaf size.
