Hello Duncan,
We are members of the MWPGA Midwest Pumpkin Growers Assoc.....of the
GPC...Great Pumpkin Commonwealth. We weigh off in Anamosa, Iowa on
October 3rd. All pumpkins must be weighed in by 11 or 11:30 (not
positive) be there early!! We start weighing in at 8:00am. It's a
wonderful day, the whole town of Anamosa has a huge festival all
weekend, parade, dance, antique car show, the works! We also have The
Country Store, where you can purchase gift items and baked goods, and we
have a concession stand. The weigh off is held at the Lawrence
Community Center. You can't miss it, just follow the crowd.
