Second pumpkin on SAME vine?! HELP!

My Burpee Prizewinner pumpkin is all orange and pretty much has stopped
growing, BUT hidden at the end of the same vine was ANOTHER pumpkin growing
that I missed for a week or so. It is getting large, BUT it is on the SAME
VINE. So should I leave it on, (and if I do, will it take anything away from
the bigger one, or will the bigger one take away from the new one)? Or should
I cut the biggie off to give more energy to the small one? Or should I cut the
small one off in case the big one wants to grow more, (but it seems to have
topped out at 81 inches circ). Or since the big one is orange and not growing
much more, should I leave both?
